No coding needed. Participants describe their ideas and their AI builds their team sites. Run the same Simple Hack platform on your own domain: event pages, registration, teams, team sites, judging and results.
The best idea wins, not the best coder. The landing page opens with the hand-drawn story film. Every event uses the ink theme and its own crayon colour. Organisers, participants and judges can work from a phone or connect the AI they already use.
Download the standalone ZIP or tar.gz package for Docker Compose, install on DigitalOcean, or use the full-platform Coolify Compose file. These run the event platform, separate from the Simple Host small-box installer.

You need a server, your own domain with apex and wildcard DNS, and a verified email sender for sign-in. Google sign-in is optional. The guides explain certificate capacity and backups.
Sign in and create an event. Share its join link with participants and its judge link privately with judges. Participants accept the code of conduct, form teams, publish a team site and complete their entry. Judges open team sites and score against your rubric; you publish the results when ready.
Your instance’s /get-started begins with “Pick your AI”, then “Try one of these” and the FAQ. Skill downloads are under “Other ways to install”. Its connector and downloaded skills point at your domain’s /mcp, so event work stays on your instance.

Event pages use event.your-domain; team sites use team.event.your-domain. Fonts and artwork are bundled locally. Team sites allow 25 MB of deployed assets with two versions kept by default. KV, SQLite and files share a separate 1,000,000-byte allowance per website.
Back up both the database and site files before upgrades. The installation guides describe retention, downloads and the upgrade script. Hosting costs are your provider’s bill; the hosted Simple Hack service is free.
